This is not Kentucky, Vanderbilt, or Cincinnati related. However, some of you might know that I'm a huge "Deadliest Catch" fan. It's the best show on TV. My favorite ship and crew on the show is the Cornelia Marie. They're a bunch of screwups on an ancient boat that happens to kick ass anyway, and their captain is Phil Harris, a chain-smoking (they all are), ass-kicking, gruff yet funny badass. But his health has been in decline for most seasons he was on the show, and earlier this month he suffered a stroke. It looked like he was going to pull through, but yesterday, he died. Obviously, I don't know the guy personally, never met him, and I've only been to Alaska once in my life. But I really, really liked him on the show and I'm pretty sad that he died. That's all.
